The New and Old Dreams
Iron and Wine-Such great heights
If it's real and you can feel it
then maybe it will stay
but if it dreams
then it will likely fade away...
in time
all things die
or maybe change
the dreams of yesterday
what do they mean?
energy is lost from all that is real
everything you touch
and everything you feel
the convictions of the past
what do they mean to you
how much do the old dreams shine
compared to the new?
and should you feel guilty
when the new dawn comes to?
