she was kind of an awkward flirt
but she was the daughter of the moon though...

Came down from space
and fell in love with a rat

who was so turned around
he didn't know where his tail was at

the rat couldn't look at the moon princess
for she was far too bright

she was nice to him
cause she reflected the suns light

he would make up excuses
on why they couldn't be together

saying rats should be with rats
that it had been this way forever

but the moon princess was patient
she did not leave his side

even when the rat was selfish
and hid to save his pride

but one day,
the moon came down

and told the princess
that a prince had been found

"come back home daughter
and have a life"

"people would look down on you
if you were a rats wife"

conflicted and torn
the princess ran

she went to the rat
