The youth who knew it all

If there is one thing I know about school 

its that it's atrocious 

the classrooms and teachers

they are ferocious

the homework and tests

they are so brutal

competing against our peers

for there approval?

how dare these people challenge me

how dare they ask for better than a C

how can they claim to be doing this for me

my future is bright

education or not

I'm the center of the universe 

I guess they forgot

I am so very perfect 

so perfect I can't even see 

the fact that the faculty are trying to help me

so grand I can't even tell

without an education I wouldn't do very well

so spectacular that it does not occur

all the opportunity this place offers

I am great all I need do is prove it

my ignorance is an asset I'd rather not lose it 

and what of an institution that wants me to do better

regardless of this I'll regret high school forever

people say hindsight is 20/20 but that can't be true

even if most claim to have loved school...
